I'm John Quirk, I use he/him pronouns.
I like to make things that are fun to make.
If they're fun to watch, that's great too!

I've been a part of the Boston independent film community for several years, producing multiple collaborative projects with the GOLEM Collective.
During my bachelor's studies at Massachusetts College of Art & Design, I began teaching animation courses in the Youth Programs, and upon graduating, I was brought on as an adjunct professor there, concurrently working as an assistant teacher in Harvard's Visual Environmental Studies department and freelancing.

I've been living in Tallinn, Estonia for the past four years, and just graduated with my master's thesis,
Sustaining Enthusiasm in the Animated Medium,
at The Estonian Academy of Arts, this summer.

I'm currently in the Scotland, working on a short
stop-motion animation for Trees for Life, a charity working towards rewilding the Highlands.

Feel free to send me a 'hello!'
